Social Networking Online and in Person: New City Co-Hosts a Networking Breakfast Club
August 13th 2009 -
New City doesn’t just recommend you sit behind your computer all day interacting with your cyber community. The connections you make online should be paired with a healthy social interaction in person if and when possible.
This month, New City is partnering with The Carter Mason Group to host a free Networking Breakfast Club at the Bang & Olufsen in Old Pasadena on Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 7:30am. This breakfast is open to all small business owners in the LA area who have a few minutes to devote to bettering their business skills and to meeting other people.
During the Event:
Carter Mason connects us with guest speaker, Fran Tarkenton, founder of GoSmallBiz, via teleconference for a 20 minute discussion on entrepreneurial topics. Following the talk, the floor will open up to all of our attendees to share a bit about their business with the group and then network with each other. For those who need to rush off, head out at 8:30am. For the rest of you who may have a few minutes to spare, hang out and mingle until 9am. New City will be there to facilitate the discussion and answer additional questions about networking and promoting your business.
New City welcomes our clients, friends and partners to join us for this brief but exciting opportunity. The event will end with enough time for you to make it back to your busy lives as business owners. We hope to see you there!
