New City Parents Presents to LAPD Cadets & Their Families

August 25, 2010, 6:30pm — New City Parents will present A Parent’s Guide to Social Media to the LAPD Cadets and their Families.  This special 1 1/2 hour presentation walks parents through the social media websites, terminology, concerns and benefits of social media and tips on how to talk to their children about these tools. Our goal is to give parents the tools they need to discuss social media safety and best practices with their children.

Joining the discussion will also be Ande Richards, NCP Community Liaison, and Cheif Hara of LAPD.
